Local effects of Vasculitis

•) Inflammation of Aorta & its main branches. 
Normally
When systolic = Aorta stretch.
And during diastolic Aorta relax.
But due to inflammation this was disturb.
Manifestation of major vessels -> loss of pulses.
If Inflammation of large blood vessels cause Takayasus disease.

•) If inflammation of medium muscular artery- 
Lead to formation of thrombus leading to infarct.

•) If small vessels vasculitis leison -
Because of lumen is small it is ruptured and Antigen & Antibody deposite inflammatory cell and cause Microhemorragec PURPURA.

Causes of purpura is ->

1)  Severe fragile capillary wall ( collagen doesn't properly form ) due to severe Vitamin C deficiency and this is seen in Scurvey.
2) Thrombocytopenia.
3) Microvasculature vasculitis (pulpable purpura) .
